MEI Corporation is the largest independent after-marketer of heavy-duty air conditioning and heating components in the United States. Specializing in HVAC products for Class 6, 7 and 8 trucks and forestry, mining and agricultural equipment, we are the industry pioneer in the distribution of air conditioning and heating components for heavy-duty equipment.
Our roots take us back to 1953 when we were founded as Matthews Equipment Inc. Fast forward to 1992, we launched to become a Master WD HVAC supplier. Our focus became Providing OEM parts to the Aftermarket Channels. Next, we changed our company name to MEI Corporation and then created the well-known brand, "AirSource" in 1994. Moving ahead to 2003, we purchased the popular “Truck Air Parts” brand. In 2010 we created the “CoolStar” brand for our initiatives with truck dealers. Omega Holdings acquired MEI Corporation in February, 2017. We purchased the “CoolPoint” brand later that year in November, 2017.
